

Baked Carnival chiacchiere are a lighter, less oily version of the traditional fried chiacchiere. They are delicious, crunchy and light pastries enjoyed during the Carnival season.
Make a well with the flour, add the ingredients and knead as for an egg pasta dough
Roll the dough with a pasta machine to a thickness of 2 mm, shape the chiacchiere with a pastry wheel or cookie cutters, brush with egg and milk and bake in the oven at 210 degrees C for about 10-12 minutes
Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar
