Place the flour in a bowl, add the egg and a pinch of salt
Mix with a wooden spoon, adding the milk little by little and mixing well until smooth
Heat a small non-stick pan, grease with butter and pour a small ladleful of batter, tilting the pan to evenly coat the bottom
Cook for 2 minutes, flip and cook the other side
Continue until the batter is used up and serve the pancakes hot with a spoonful of jam
