

Gattò di patate is a delicious recipe typical of the Campania region. It is a tasty and savory side dish, perfect to accompany meat or fish main courses. It is easy to prepare and enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Boil the potatoes and mash them
Combine 80 g of butter, salt, eggs, grated Grana cheese and hot milk as needed to obtain a very soft mixture
Work it with a whisk, add the ham, parsley and pepper
Spread half of the mixture in a buttered baking dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, make a layer of sliced mozzarella, cover with the remaining mixture, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and dots of butter
Bake in a hot oven at 200°C for 40 minutes
