A delicious hot dog stuffed with Altro sausages and accompanied by sauerkraut.
Pour the contents of the package into a large bowl.
Add the cold refrigerator water, mix, and then also add the seed oil. Mix well and after the mixture is rehydrated, let it rest in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
Form sausages of about 50 g.
In the meantime, prepare the sauerkraut: finely chop the onion and sauté it in a pan over low heat with extra virgin olive oil.
When the onion is wilted, add the sauerkraut, white wine, salt (if desired), and pepper. Cover with a lid and let cook for about 20 minutes.
After the sausages have rested, cook them in the pan, turning them often.
Once cooked, place the sausages in the buns along with the sauerkraut and add sauces to taste.
Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
The buns can be toasted for a richer flavor. Serve with mustard and ketchup to taste.
