Usage tips and frequently asked questions How to wash them? By hand with a sponge, dish soap, and cold running water. As with all wooden or natural coconut shell items, we do not recommend the dishwasher or prolonged immersion in water as they may get damaged. What foods can they be used with? Perfect for cold or room temperature foods. We do not recommend hot and/or liquid foods. The bowls are made of real coconut shells, a solid but still natural material sensitive to high temperatures. Can I put them in the oven, microwave, fridge, or freezer? It's better to avoid extreme temperatures, high or low, as they could damage or break them. We advise against keeping them in the refrigerator or freezer for prolonged periods as they may get damaged due to very low temperatures. At most, you can keep them in the fridge for a couple of hours to make cold recipes like cold porridge. How and when to polish them? If you want to rejuvenate and nourish your bowls, you can polish them with any vegetable oil every 20-30 uses to keep them in excellent condition for a long time.
