Acquerello rice aged 1 year is a Carnaroli rice produced in Vercelli by the Rondolino family. Only whole grains are selected for the 1-year aged rice package. Thanks to the processing and germination at controlled temperatures, the rice acquires unique nutrients and microelements found only in whole grain rices. Acquerello rice is whitened using a helix that allows the rice grain to be whitened through physical friction with another grain, keeping the rice grain intact and perfect for cooking.
