Antica Formula Vermouth Carpano 1 L

Antica Formula Vermouth Carpano 1 L

An essential ingredient for creating refined and exclusive cocktails, Antica Formula was created in 1786 by Antonio Benedetto Carpano and has reached us in its original recipe, which includes the use of Moscato white wine from Piedmont and structured wines from Southern Italy; an infusion of selected botanicals characterizes its taste, and it is rumored to be made by three people, each of whom knows their part of the formula without knowing the other two. Produced in limited quantities and elegantly packaged in numbered, hand-blown glass bottles, this jewel is sealed, like the finest wines, with a cork stopper, and the label is the original reproduction from 1786. Very intense amber color, with ruby reflections, it intoxicates the nose with sweet fruity scents of raisins, fig jam, and dates, along with vegetal notes of mountain herbs and spices, among which star anise and cinnamon stand out, all on a soft and enveloping vanilla background. And vanilla is the undisputed protagonist of the tasting, in a perfect picture of softness, structure, and taste finesse, with a refined, rich, and very delicious taste in the long persistence of orange peel. Ideal to enjoy cold, as an aperitif or after a meal, it proves to be an interesting variant for the great traditional cocktails, such as the Negroni or the classic Americano. Alcohol content: 16.50%
