Description
Bosio Franciacorta Brut is a wine made with 90% Chardonnay grapes and 10% Pinot Noir from the vineyards owned by the Bosio winery in Franciacorta. The grapes are harvested around mid-August and brought to the winery for gentle pressing. The musts ferment partly in French oak barriques and mostly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After alcoholic fermentation, the wines that will make up Bosio Franciacorta Brut rest on the fine lees until the spring following the harvest, then they are blended and bottled with the addition of sugar and yeasts for bottle fermentation. Bosio Franciacorta Brut remains in the cellar for 24 months aging on the lees before disgorgement and market release. Pairings: Bosio Franciacorta Brut is a perfect wine as an aperitif, an excellent accompaniment to seafood appetizers, but also to delicate first courses such as risottos or lake fish dishes. Storage: Store at 16-18°C Alcohol content: 12.5% Vintage: N.V. Designation: Franciacorta DOCG Aging: In bottle for 24 months.
