Description
Bosio Franciacorta Saten is a wine from Cantina Bosio made with 100% Chardonnay grapes. Saten is a particular type of Franciacorta that develops about 4.5 bars of pressure inside the bottle, unlike the 6 bars normally found in other Franciacorta. This aspect makes Saten a creamier, silkier wine and it must be made exclusively with white grapes. The Chardonnay is handpicked by Bosio around the beginning of September and brought to the winery for gentle pressing. The musts ferment 80% in steel and 20% in French oak barriques and remain in aging until the spring following the harvest when blending occurs. The bottling of Bosio Franciacorta Saten takes place after the addition of sugars and yeasts that will lead to the second fermentation in the bottle and develop the famous bubbles. After at least 24 months, Bosio Franciacorta Saten is disgorged and released to the market. Pairings: Bosio Franciacorta Saten is a wine suitable for the entire meal, from appetizer to main course.
