Capovilla Apricot Distillate 0.5L is the result of the distillation process of Pellecchiella variety apricots grown on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and other selected fruits from Val Venosta in Trentino and Reale d’Imola. Vittorio Gianni Capovilla is one of the most important masters of distillation in Italy, and his constant pursuit of high-quality raw materials makes his products among the most appreciated and sought after in the Italian distillate scene. The selected apricots are gently crushed without breaking the pit, the pressed fruit is then pitted and placed in vats for fermentation. This process occurs spontaneously so that the fermented product has the typical characteristics of the yeasts present on the skin of the carefully selected apricots.
