Description
The casarecce from Pastificio Campo are produced in Napola, in the province of Trapani. Caserecce is a typical Sicilian pasta shape used for tomato-based sauces and vegetable-based condiments. Simply fantastic is the aroma that this wonderful pasta emits during cooking; you can smell the fragrance that only Sicilian grains have. The Trapanese casarecce from Pastificio Campo are made with Sicilian durum wheat semolina sourced from crops located within a radius of no more than 300 km from the company and water. The Scialatielli from Pastificio Campo are bronze-drawn to allow the sauces to adhere copiously and make the tasting a true poetry. Pairings: Caserecce are excellent when accompanied by a tomato sauce or vegetable-based sauces such as eggplant and carrots.
