Description
Chianti Rufina Organic I Veroni is a wine produced solely with the Sangiovese grape variety in the Chianti Rufina area from vineyards near Pontassieve, just south of the city of Florence at an altitude of about 250m above sea level. The grapes are harvested separately and brought to the winery for fermentation, which takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. During maceration and fermentation, numerous pump-overs and delestage are performed to extract prestigious substances from the grape skins. Subsequently, the Chianti Rufina Organic I Veroni is separated from the skins and aged for 12/14 months in large Slavonian oak barrels before blending and bottling. Before being released to the market, the Chianti Rufina Organic I Veroni remains in the bottle for 6 months.
