Description
Colterenzio Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC is a wine produced with one of the most famous grape varieties of Trentino Alto Adige: the Gewurztraminer. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Adige Valley at an altitude between 400 and 450 m above sea level, allowing the grapes to benefit from significant temperature variations during the ripening period. This heavily influences the aromatic profile of the Gewurztraminer grapes that make up the Colterenzio Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC wine. During the manual harvest, the grapes undergo a brief cold maceration to extract the aromatic compounds found in the skins and allow their dispersion into the must. Fermentation takes place in steel at 18°C for about a week. The Colterenzio Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC remains on the lees in steel for aging until the spring following the harvest until bottling. Pairings: Suitable as an aperitif and for spicy appetizers, pasta with seafood, baked fish, and white meat dishes. Storage: store at 16-18°C. Alcohol content: 13.50% Vintage: 2023 Designation: Alto Adige DOC Aging: In steel.
