Description
Created in 1952, Cynar is a liqueur obtained from the infusion of 13 different types of herbs and plants, including cynarine, extracted from artichoke and renowned for its high digestive properties. It is a product rich in aromas and its low alcohol content makes it accessible to a wide audience; a product that, as a famous advertisement once said, is "against the wear and tear of modern life." Genuine and friendly, it is the perfect bitter for after meals and can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. To give it a more appealing twist, it can be paired with tonic water or consumed with a splash of seltzer, in a cool glass and perhaps with a slice of orange. In short, many uses for an exclusive and all-Italian product. Very bright ebony color with significant coppery reflections. On the nose, it expresses an incredible herbal bouquet in which the artichoke leaf stands out above all aromas, followed by slight sensations of cut grass and wildflowers. The taste is bold and bitter, yet pleasant and smooth, tasty and balanced, rich in herbal and vegetal returns, in an excellent balance of the alcoholic note that leads to a finish characterized by a long bitter trail. Alcohol content: 16.50%
