Elisir Gambrinus Classico 1L is a liqueur produced on the banks of the Piave River near Treviso. It is a very popular liqueur, especially in northern Italy, but it also enjoys considerable success beyond national borders. It is believed that Elisir Gambrinus Classico 1L was an invention attributed to the innkeeper and wine merchant Giacomo Zanotto and his passionate knowledge of the fruits of the lands along the Piave. The invention in 1847 of a noble liqueur is documented in a manuscript whose secret instructions are still respected today. Elisir Gambrinus Classico 1L is made using the typical Veneto Raboso wine and, together with 21 other ingredients, it matures in Slavonian oak barrels of different sizes for at least 4 or 5 years before being processed and bottled. Alcohol content: 27% Aging: In French oak barrels of various sizes for 5 years.
