Description
Lagrein Riserva Peter Zemmer Furggl" is a wine produced with Lagrein grapes typical of the Trentino Alto Adige wine region. Lagrein Riserva Peter Zemmer "Furggl" is obtained from the best Lagrein grapes grown in the clay soils near the winery in the municipality of Ora. The Lagrein grapes are harvested around mid-September and brought to the winery for vinification. After destemming, fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28-30°C for about 10 days, during which numerous pump-overs and rackings allow optimal contact between the skins and the must-wine. Subsequently, the Lagrein Riserva Peter Zemmer "Furggl" is separated from the skins and aged in first-passage barriques for 15 months before being transferred to large barrels for another 10 months. Afterwards, the Lagrein Riserva Peter Zemmer "Furggl" is blended and bottled and remains in refinement for 6 months before being released on the market. Pairings: Lagrein Riserva Peter Zemmer "Furggl" is a perfect wine to pair with typical Trentino dishes prepared with flavorful red meats, game, and blue cheeses.
