Description
Lugana Villabella is a wine made from 90% Trebbiano di Lugana grapes and a small percentage of 10% Chardonnay grown in the Lake Garda area. The grapes are harvested at maturity around mid-September and brought to the winery for pressing, which takes place in oxygen-free conditions to prevent the oxidation of the aromatic precursors present in the must. Once clarified, the must is inoculated with selected yeasts, and fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about 15 days at a temperature of approximately 16°C. Subsequently, Lugana Villabella remains on its lees for about 5 months before being blended and bottled. Lugana Villabella is released to the market only after 5 months of bottle aging. Pairings: Avcanzi Lugana is a perfect wine to pair with pasta with sea bass, risotto with tench, and spring risottos with vegetables and wild herbs.
