Description
Monte Rossa Franciacorta Saten Sansevè is a blanc de blanc produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes. Being a Franciacorta of the Saten type, it is characterized by having developed only 4.5 bar of pressure in the bottle, unlike the 6 bar typical of other Franciacorta types. This allows Monte Rossa Franciacorta Saten Sansevè to be a creamier and more delicate wine, achieving remarkable levels of taste elegance. The Chardonnay grapes are harvested around the beginning of September and brought to the winery for gentle pressing. The musts ferment partly in barriques and partly in thermoregulated AISI 310 stainless steel tanks. After alcoholic fermentation, the wines remain for 7 months aging on fine lees before the creation of the cuvée and bottling. Monte Rossa Franciacorta Saten Sansevè is bottled with the addition of sugars and yeasts that will lead to the second fermentation in the bottle, thus allowing the appearance of bubbles. After resting for at least 24 months, Monte Rossa Franciacorta Saten Sansevè is disgorged and released to the market.
