
Description
Perricone Tenute Orestiadi is a wine produced with Perricone grapes grown in the Belice Valley area in Sicily, in the municipality of Gibellina in Sicily. The vineyards where Perricone is cultivated have volcanic origin soils which, together with favorable climatic conditions, allow the grapes to reach a perfect state of ripeness every year. The Perricone is harvested and brought to the winery for crushing, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a temperature of about 25-27°C for about 15 days during which remontages and delestages are repeated to extract aromas and polyphenols from the skins. Subsequently, the Perricone Tenute Orestiadi wine is separated from the skins and aged in French oak barrels for about 18 months before blending and bottling.
