Description
Introduced to its second homeland – Alto Adige – as early as 1850, Pinot Bianco is one of the most important white wines of our winery. First bottled in 1982, Schulthauser is today among the most well-known Pinot Bianco in the Alto Adige wine scene. A complete wine, finely fruity and fresh, capable of seducing the palate with both its creamy softness and pronounced acidity. The majority (80%) is fermented in steel tanks, with the remainder in wooden barrels followed by malolactic fermentation. The two wines are then blended in February. Pairings: a typical aperitif and summer wine, but also a versatile companion for dishes: it is recommended with seafood and fish in general, as well as delicate feathered game dishes. A particularly recommended pairing is with Tyrolean "Schlutzkrapfen" or cheese dumplings. Alcohol content: 13.5% Vintage: 2022 Designation: Alto Adige DOC
