Description
Quadra Franciacorta QRose is a true oenological gem from the Quadra estate, a wine that exemplarily expresses all the exceptional qualities of Pinot Noir, which makes up 64% of the blend. This spectacular rosé is the result of a cold maceration of Pinot Noir, a process that allows the skins to transfer the distinctive aromas of this variety to the must, which then shine in the finished wine. The Pinot Noir vineyards, from which Quadra Franciacorta QRose originates, are located in highly favorable areas for the production of Franciacorta wines. The grapes are hand-picked in mid-August and immediately transported to the winery for gentle pressing. The musts then ferment in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels for about 20 days at a controlled temperature of 16°C. After 8 months from the harvest, the wines are blended according to established proportions and bottled with the addition of sugar and yeasts, which allow for bottle fermentation and the creation of bubbles. Finally, before being released to the market, Quadra Franciacorta QRose matures for a full 43 months. The result is a rosé wine of great personality, enchanting for its peculiar characteristics. Pairings: Quadra Franciacorta QRose pairs perfectly with seafood appetizers and first courses, shellfish. It also pairs excellently with tartare and carpaccio of meat.
