Ribolla Gialla Rjgialla La Tunella is a dry white wine made from pure Ribolla Gialla grapes. The company has 6 hectares of Ribolla Gialla with a planting density of 4,500 vines per hectare. The training system is the traditional short Friulian single inverted. Located on entirely hilly marl soils, the vineyard yields excellent quality results thanks to the cultivation techniques adopted, the perfect symbiosis between soil type and vine, and the low grape production per vine. Harvest: the grapes were hand-picked in the second decade of September. Strictly hand-picked and placed in crates, the grapes are directly and gently pressed. The resulting must, clear and intact, is added with a fermentation starter previously prepared with the best selected grapes of the same variety. It is then subjected to a slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a strictly controlled temperature (16 °C) which lasts about 30-40 days. At the end of fermentation, a long series of batonnage is carried out, in order to obtain a rich and full-bodied wine, delicately scented and at the same time naturally stable. After a long aging on the lees, bottling will take place in the first decade of March. Commercialization in spring. It is recommended to consume at an optimal serving temperature of 8/10°C.
