Cultivation area: Lavigna 2022 is produced by the Terracanta company, located at the foot of the Lazio volcano, between the valleys of the Roman countryside that extend towards the coast, in Lazio. Cultivation practices: Terracanta follows biodynamic farming practices, with over 36 years of experience, paying great attention to sustainability and soil health. The harvest is manual, ensuring a careful selection of the grapes. Designation: Lazio Bianco IGT Grape variety and technical characteristics: Grape variety: Blend of Trebbiano Rosa, Trebbiano Toscano, Trebbiano Verde, Trebbiano Abruzzese, Bellone, Malvasia di Candia, Malvasia Puntinata and a small amount of Montepulciano, for this vintage only 2%, from old planted vines. Vinification: The grapes are co-fermented in amphora for several months. The wine is bottled without filtration or clarification, maintaining its natural integrity. Alcohol content: 12.5% Tasting notes: Color: Although the label indicates "White Wine", the wine has a bright rosé color. Aroma: Fruity and floral aromas, with notes of white-fleshed fruit and fresh flowers. Taste: Fresh and lively, with a pleasant acidity and a harmonious finish. Curiosity: Despite the label stating "White Wine", Lavigna 2022 has a rosé color, the result of co-fermentation of different grape varieties, including a small percentage of Montepulciano.
