EcoFiltro with a capacity of up to 5 liters to purify water without other filters or additives. Convenient to keep at home and not worry about it anymore! The EcoFiltro is made of vitrified steel with a convenient stainless steel tap. The filtering unit is a composite material, made of three natural materials: clay, sawdust, and colloidal silver. The clay creates microscopic channels within the internal walls of the filtration unit and traps all contaminants present in the water, including solids, bacteria, and parasites. The sawdust turns into activated carbon during the process, eliminating all bad odors, taste, and turbidity of the water, regardless of its origin (stream, river, well, lagoon, or lake). The colloidal silver is impregnated on the surface of the ceramic filter after being baked in the oven. It is a bactericide used worldwide to purify water and has no side effects. It acts as a second protective layer to neutralize contaminants. Choose the color you like best. It is recommended, before using the water from the filter, to change it at least three times as the taste may initially be clayey. The weight of the water creates micropores in the clay-based filtering unit that release this material at the bottom. The water is always drinkable, but to have a neutral taste, it is recommended to use the water from the first filtrations to water plants. Ideal for 1 or 2 people. HOW IT WORKS To ensure the correct functioning of the filter, it is necessary to clean the filtration unit every 6 months. Without removing the filter unit from the container, place the complete Ecofiltro in a clean area. With clean and freshly washed hands, place a clean cloth on the table and lay the filter unit on it. Never touch the base of the filter, only hold it by the edges. With a new sponge that will be used exclusively to clean the filter, first clean the outside by removing dirt. Then, wash the filtration unit with clean water. Rinse the sponge with water and clean the inside of the filter in the same way. Remember that the filter should only be washed with water. DO NOT use soap or chlorine. Use ONLY a new sponge and water. Place two clean cloths on the table and position the filter inverted on the cloths. Cover the clean filter with another cloth to prevent dust or insects from falling on it. Wash the external parts of the filter (outer container, lid, and tap) with water and soap. Replace the filter unit EVERY TWO YEARS.
