Phoenix Black/White Sneakers recycled from textile waste. Ethically produced in Portugal. Designed in Copenhagen. 100% VEGAN | SUSTAINABLE | UPCYCLED | ETHICAL | NATURAL - Insole: natural latex, tencel, kenaf, and natural fibers - Sole: 70% recycled virgin rubber and 30% virgin rubber - Glue: water-based - Heel and toe reinforcement: biodegradable cotton - Laces: recycled cotton - Textile: unwanted denim and workwear - Lining: discarded fabric - Packaging: recycled cardboard Wair sneakers fit true to size, making the whole process relatively simple. However, they fit a bit smaller, so if you're undecided between two sizes, it's better to go up one size, so if you usually wear an EU size 42.5, go up half a size and purchase an EU 43. Also, if you have doubts or have wider feet, we recommend increasing the size. According to customers (and WAIR's direct experience), the shoes will adapt to your feet after wearing them a few times! Cleaning In case of dirt, there are several ways to clean your shoes and make them white again: one way to do this is to gently treat these fabric sneakers with a brush and a small amount of eco-friendly detergent mixed with warm water. Remove the soapy water and let the shoes dry at room temperature. One way to make white shoes white again is to use a mixture of baking soda, water, and hydrogen peroxide.
