It contains both the bran and the germ of the grain, preserving all the most nutritious parts of the rice. Since whole grain Baldo rice absorbs seasonings very well, it is also excellent for preparing supplì, arancini, doughs, or delicate desserts. Additionally, being whole grain, it is rich in beneficial properties such as fibers and antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It cooks in about 25 minutes. If you want to appreciate its natural aroma, I recommend seasoning it simply with excellent olive oil and Parmigiano Reggiano.
