Sweet yogurt rings: delicate and easy-to-make dipping cookies. Soft, scented with lemon; great served dusted with powdered sugar or with half covered in melted chocolate.
Preheat the oven to 180°C in static mode.
In a bowl, break the egg; add the sugar and grated lemon zest, and mix.
Add the cream and yogurt and blend until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Incorporate the sifted flour and baking powder; knead until a soft but not sticky dough is formed.
Lightly flour your hands, shape into rings, and arrange them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.
Bake at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly; dust with powdered sugar. If desired, cover half of the rings with melted chocolate.
Serve; soaked in hot milk, they are delicious.
