Amaretti mousse is a dessert with a delicate, enveloping flavor. Made with dark chocolate, whipped cream, egg whites, amaretti biscuits, orange liqueur and toasted hazelnuts, this mousse literally melts in the mouth, delivering an explosion of flavors. Chop the chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie with the liqueur
Let it cool and stir in the crumbled amaretti
Using a whisk, fold in the whipped cream and the egg whites beaten to very stiff peaks
Pour the mixture into a glass bowl and level the surface with a knife
Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for 4 hours before serving, decorated with the hazelnuts
