Anchovy Crostini are a delicious appetizer typical of Italian cuisine. Made with crispy bread, butter, melted mozzarella, and anchovies in oil, these crostini are simple to make but very tasty. Perfect to accompany an aperitif or to start a special dinner.
Debone the anchovies, divide them in half, and cut the fillets into two parts
Cut the slices of bread in half and spread them with butter; on each half slice of bread, place a slice of mozzarella, some pieces of tomato, a piece of anchovy, and season with salt, pepper, and oregano
Place the crostini in the oven and let them cook until the mozzarella has melted
