Anchovy Crostini are a delicious appetizer typical of Italian cuisine. Made with crispy bread, butter, melted mozzarella, and oil-packed anchovies, these crostini are simple to make but very tasty. Perfect for serving with an aperitif or to start a special dinner.

Remove the bones from the anchovies, split them in half and cut the fillets into two parts
Cut the slices of bread in half and spread them with butter; on each half slice of bread place a slice of mozzarella, a few pieces of tomato, a piece of anchovy and season with salt, pepper, and oregano
Put the crostini in the oven and let them cook until the mozzarella melts
