Hot dogs are a classic American appetizer, loved by adults and children. They consist of soft oval milk rolls filled with cooked pork sausages, seasoned with a dash of mustard and a pinch of salt.

Boil the sausages in a pot of salted boiling water for a few minutes
Slice the milk rolls in half lengthwise, then spread the base of each with a tablespoon of mustard (sweet or strong, as you prefer)
Fill each roll with a sausage, put them briefly in the oven (200°C) and serve them hot
If you prefer, you can sear the sausages on the grill instead of boiling them in water
