Wild boar with apples is a typical dish of Tuscan cuisine. The wild boar is marinated in red wine and then slowly cooked with apples and aromatic vegetables. The result is a flavorful and succulent dish, perfect for a winter lunch.

In a pan, melt 30 g of butter and brown the meat cut into large pieces
When they are browned, add a finely chopped onion and a carrot
Stir, sprinkle with a tablespoon of flour, let it brown, and deglaze with the wine
Add a clove of garlic, a bay leaf, salt, and pepper
Bring to a boil and transfer the pot to a preheated oven at 200 degrees for one hour
Shortly before the cooking time is over, splash with a small glass of brandy
Meanwhile, cut the peeled apples into pieces and sauté them in a pan with the remaining butter for 10 minutes
