Alda's lemons have been growing in the eastern Sicilian territory for many years now. Alda is a Sicilian girl who, after many years away, decided to return and take over her father's company. The Primofiore is harvested from October until mid-April. The territory of Syracuse has the perfect conditions (sun, abundant water, wind, the effects of proximity to the sea) that make the production unique and have thus given rise to the Protected Geographical Indication. The lemons have a juice content of at least 34%, a thick, aromatic peel rich in fragrant essential oils, and high levels of vitamin C and citric acid.
