Vigna Moresca Malvasia Liquorosa Igt di Sicilia wine. In our Vigna Moresca Malvasia Liquorosa Igt di Sicilia wine, we find Malvasia, introduced in Sicily by the Greeks as a sweet wine grape, and even today this vine can give us wines of great intensity. Packaging: 6 Bottles of 0.75 liters. Close your eyes for a moment and let yourself be caressed by the wind and warmed by the sun; breathe in the air that surrounds you, full of scents: that of the sea, of Mediterranean vegetation, of the earth. You cannot be mistaken... You are in Marsala, the "land of wine" where our Vigna Moresca Malvasia Liquorosa Igt di Sicilia wine is born. No other Italian city can boast such a varied wine production. With wit and foresight, the English noticed this when they landed in the 1700s and immediately understood that from the local grapes it could be obtained something very similar to Spanish and Portuguese fortified wines: the wine that later became famous all over the world with the name "Marsala". In this very vine-rich land, in 1997 our three families of winemakers decided to take over the brand "Cantine Vinci", producer of our Vigna Moresca Malvasia Liquorosa Igt di Sicilia wine, and thus began a new adventure that saw them as protagonists in the transformation of their grapes into wines of constant and undisputed quality. Transitioning from simple growers to winemakers was not easy, but the experience passed down from father to son over several generations helped us understand which bunches to select for the best quality wine, what the most suitable times were for grape harvesting, and which soils could best enhance the physiological and productive properties of the different cultivars. Producing noble grapes has thus become the cornerstone of our journey to produce wines of excellent quality like the Vigna Moresca Malvasia Liquorosa Igt di Sicilia wine. Over time, wisdom, the desire to learn, and the goal of producing great wines have been recognized and rewarded. Thus today, Cantine Vinci can boast important accolades obtained for the production of wines that, once tasted, are hard to forget. Characteristics: Grape variety: Malvasia (100%). Production area: Agro marsalese. Training system: Espalier with Guyot pruning. Harvest period: September. Vinification: In stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (16/18°C); once the first 5-6° of alcohol are reached during alcoholic fermentation, vinous ethanol is added up to about 16° to stop the fermentative process and thus preserve a good part of the sugars and aromas of the must. Color: Intense straw yellow with golden reflections. Smell: Enveloping, fragrant, persistent; shows marked floral hints of sage, acacia, eucalyptus, but also of peaches and canned apricots, melon and wildflower honey. Taste: Delicate, soft, harmonious, with a satisfying return of floral and fruity notes. Alcohol content: 16.00% vol. Sugar content: 130 grams/liter. Wood aging: none. Bottle aging: minimum 3 months. Pairing: Pleasant dessert wine, ideal to accompany the delicious specialties of traditional Sicilian pastry and ice cream. Serving temperature: 12/14°C.
