The Mandolinero originates from the union of two typical products of Avola, the local almond and the Nero D’Avola wine. Our small family-run farm, located in the area of Avola, the birthplace of the Nero D’Avola grape, has preserved and enhanced the history and tradition of the Nero D’Avola wine for four generations. The wine is obtained from grapes mainly harvested in the company estate of contrada Bonivini, which consists of 10 hectares of vineyard and from which the precious D.O.C Eloro is produced, grown in a dry regime with alberello and medium trellis. Our production continues with the true gem of the cellar: the Mandolinero, the black almond wine, the only liqueur wine obtained from the marriage between almond and our precious Nero d’Avola wine.
