Description
Chiaretto Ca Maiol Roseri is a rosé wine that in the area of Lake Garda in Valtenesi is called Chiaretto and takes its name Roseri from the delicate character reminiscent of a rosebud. Chiaretto is produced with the classic Garda grapes which are Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera harvested around the beginning of September and brought to the cellar for destemming. The typical rosé color is given by the maceration of the skins in the must at low temperature, in this way the release of aromas and coloring substances from the skins is favored. Once the desired color is reached, the skins are separated from the must which then ferments in steel at a temperature of about 16°C to allow the yeast to produce quality aromatic substances. After fermentation, the wine is racked and bottled and marketed from February 14 following the harvest.
