Description
Pinot Grigio Sanct Valentin Alto Adige DOC originates from the best plots of Pinot Grigio in the vineyards of the municipality of Appiano Monte, located between 450 and 600m above sea level. The Pinot Grigio vines are between 10 and 32 years old, thus at the perfect age to produce wines of extraordinary quality. The grapes are hand-harvested around mid-September, and fermentation takes place in oak tonneaux. In the same containers, the Pinot Grigio Sanct Valentin Alto Adige DOC undergoes malolactic fermentation and aging, which lasts for about a year before blending. After blending, Pinot Grigio Sanct Valentin Alto Adige DOC remains in steel tanks for 6 months before bottling. Pairings: A true versatile talent capable of easily accompanying fish dishes as well as red meat dishes, it is perfect with risotto with herb pesto.
