Tanqueray London Dry gin was created by the brand's founder, Charles Tanqueray, in 1830 and is still made following the same classic recipe. Its legendary bottle is inspired by a continental shaker made famous during Prohibition in the roaring '20s. In the 1830s in England, the pineapple was considered a symbol of hospitality and appears on the Tanqueray family crest, adorning every bottle of the Tanqueray Distilling Company. Tanqueray London Dry gin is distilled four times and offers a great balance of the four classic gin botanicals: refreshing juniper, spicy coriander, aromatic angelica and sweet liquorice. It is best enjoyed with tonic water, plenty of ice and a slice of lime, but can also be used as an excellent base for a wide variety of cocktails.
