In Cassina de' Pecchi (MI), experimentation never stops, and this time, the efforts of brewmaster Lorenzo Mascherini have focused on reproducing one of the quintessential Czech styles: the Světlý Ležák, better known as Czech Lager or - though we at Maltese aren't crazy about the term - Bohemian Pils. Thanks to extensive research and 100% ingredients sourced from the Czech Republic, the result achieved by WAR is very interesting. A truly smooth beer, yet memorable for the fragrance of malts and hops and their balance throughout the sip.
