The Tea box by Oku is solid and durable. We do not use plywood, but solid beech or chestnut wood that is strictly local. The small marks on the wood, such as knots and wear, make each box unique. To build our storage boxes we do not cut down any trees: we use almost entirely reclaimed material, such as processing scraps from our carpentry. Moreover, we do not use impregnating agents or chemical paints but only natural resins.
