GUADO AL TASSO - BOLGHERI SUPERIORE ROSSO 2020 - ANTINORI - 0.75 L

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and sometimes a small amount of Petit Verdot, to represent the elegance, complexity, and structure of the Bolgheri terroir. It has been produced since 1990 from vineyards located on alluvial soil, ranging from clay-sandy to clay-silty, with the presence of Bolgheri conglomerate (skeleton). Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located in the small and prestigious DOC of Bolgheri, on the coast of the Alta Maremma, about a hundred kilometers southwest of Florence. This denomination has a relatively short history (established in 1995) but boasts an international reputation as a new benchmark in the global wine scene. Tenuta Guado al Tasso covers an area of 320 hectares planted with vineyards, in a splendid plain surrounded by hills known as the "Bolgheri amphitheater" for its particular shape. The vineyards of Guado al Tasso are predominantly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Vermentino Nero and Bianco grapes. They enjoy a mild climate due to the nearby presence of the sea: constant breezes mitigate the summer heat and the winter cold, clear the sky, and keep the sunshine index high.
