ARTISANALLY PRODUCED ORANGE HONEY. Produced in the Ragusa and Agrigento areas in April. This orange honey is almost colorless when still liquid, while it turns straw yellow, pearly white when it crystallizes. Its medium-low intensity aroma is reminiscent of orange blossoms, floral, while the flavor of medium aromatic intensity, between floral and fruity, is reminiscent of jasmine. The crystallization often presents with large, sandy crystals, semi-rapid that tends towards white. PROCESSING METHODS. It is extracted only with natural products in the first weeks of April and the honeycombs are centrifuged without any thermal treatment to preserve its quality. USES.
