The wine comes from the typical red grape varieties of Beneventano (mainly Aglianico and Piedirosso) grown in the vine-growing areas of the provincial territory from the area with a typical geographical indication, on clayey and moderately calcareous soils. It presents a beautiful ruby red color; on the nose it shows aromas of red fruit in alcohol, blackberry, and floral notes of violet. The aroma is complemented by notes of dried fruit (carob), spicy (cloves and licorice), chocolate, tobacco, and caramel. On the palate, it has a full and pleasantly soft body, elegant, slightly astringent. Why it’s called Bozzovich: a synergy between art and wine; a sinuous and elegant female figure in true Art Nouveau style conveys the seductive nature of this wine, whose captivating label is a restyling of the original poster by the artist Bozzovich, used to promote Ocone wines in the aftermath of World War I, and from which the wine takes its name.
