This bread is typical of the Molise tradition from the town of Cercepiccola, in the province of Campobasso, in the mountains of the Molise Apennines. Handcrafted, it uses only ingredients from the Molise land and is baked in an ancient oven as per tradition. HOW TO STORE It should be kept in a cool, but not refrigerated, environment with the right humidity. For purchases over a kilo: cut into quarters and place in the freezer or blast chiller. Subsequently: defrost at room temperature and then place in a warm oven before serving.
