The Ghemme Vigna Cavegnago DOCG from the Mirù Agricultural Company is a high-quality red wine, produced with the extraordinary grapes cultivated in the vineyards located near Ghemme, a small town in the province of Novara, in Piedmont. A small curiosity: since 1994 the municipality of Ghemme has been part of the "Cities of Wine", carefully selected places by the National Association of Cities of Wine, an institution present throughout the national territory formed by more than five hundred local Italian entities that bring together all those locations that stand out for their excellent wine production. This wine is produced with grapes from two grape varieties: Nebbiolo (95%) and Vespolina (5%). Being a DOCG wine, its production is allowed only in the namesake municipality of Ghemme and partly in the municipality of Romagnano Sesia, both in the province of Novara. This wine is characterized by a ruby red color with purple reflections. The aroma is intense and features particular aromatic notes of sour cherry, violet, tobacco, and spices. The taste, on the other hand, is harmonious and balanced, featuring a good level of persistence but above all a great structure and ends with a slightly bitter finish.
