The Ghemme Vigna Cavegnago DOCG from Azienda Agricola Mirù is a top-quality red wine, produced with the extraordinary grapes grown in the vineyards located in Ghemme, a small town in the province of Novara, in Piedmont. A little curiosity: since 1994, the municipality of Ghemme has been part of the "Città del vino" (Cities of Wine), places carefully selected by the national association Città del Vino, an institution present throughout the national territory formed by more than five hundred Italian local entities that gather all those localities distinguished by their excellent wine production. This wine is produced with grapes from two varieties: Nebbiolo (95%) and Vespolina (5%). Being a DOCG wine, its production is allowed only in the homonymous municipality of Ghemme and partly in the municipality of Romagnano Sesia, both in the province of Novara. This wine is characterized by a ruby red color with purple reflections. The aroma is intense and is characterized by particular aromatic notes of black cherry, violet, tobacco, and spices. The taste, on the other hand, is harmonious and balanced, with a good level of persistence but above all a great structure, and it closes with a slightly bitter finish. Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
