My "white salad" as I have nicknamed it, although a bit pale, allows us to get a full dose of vitamins, minerals, and plant proteins. It is also recommended for those who suffer from cholesterol as it is completely free of saturated fats. Lettuce, due to its high water content, rehydrates our body, so it is especially useful in summer when the heat causes significant fluid loss.

Preparation

  1. STEP 1 OF 5

    Drain the tofu from its preserving water.

  2. STEP 2 OF 5

    Cut it into cubes and sear it in a non-stick pan with a little oil.

  3. STEP 3 OF 5

    Wash the vegetables and slice them.

  4. STEP 4 OF 5

    Once the tofu is ready, combine everything in a bowl.
