Prepare the batter by mixing the egg with all the other ingredients.
Cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for 1 hour.
Clean the apple and remove the core, cut it into slices and dip them in the batter.
Place the slices in the air fryer basket and, if you like, add some cinnamon.
Cook at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
Decorate with powdered sugar, if desired.
