Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Wash the apples, cut them in half, remove the core, and slice them thinly.
Soak the apple slices in water with lemon juice to prevent them from browning.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 6 equal strips.
Spread a thin layer of jam on each strip of puff pastry.
Arrange the apple slices slightly overlapping along one side of the pastry strip.
Fold the other side of the pastry over the apples and gently roll to form a rose.
Place the roses in a muffin tin and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
