    Preparation

    1. STEP 1 OF 10

      Cut the onions and sauté them in a pan over high heat with oil and salt.

    2. STEP 2 OF 10

      When they soften, add a glass of water and the brown sugar.

    3. STEP 3 OF 10

      Cut the potatoes into very small cubes and sauté them in a pan with two glasses of water.

    4. STEP 4 OF 10

      If the water dries up, add another glass until they are soft.

    5. STEP 5 OF 10

      Season the potatoes with oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, add half of the Parmesan.

    6. STEP 6 OF 10

      Roll out the puff pastry and prick it with a fork.

    7. STEP 7 OF 10

      Add the caramelized onions on the base, the cheese, and the potatoes.

    8. STEP 8 OF 10

      Fold the edges of the puff pastry and brush them with the yolk.

    9. STEP 9 OF 10

      Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan.

    10. STEP 10 OF 10

      Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
