Sebadas with honey are a traditional Sardinian dessert, simple to prepare and delightful to enjoy. Perfect for ending a meal with a touch of sweetness.
Place a pan on the stove and pour in some oil suitable for frying, such as sunflower or peanut oil. The oil should be enough to cover the Sebadas.
Heat the oil to a temperature of about 160 °C and immerse the Sebadas. Use a spoon to drizzle the surface to help with browning.
When the side in contact with the oil is golden, turn the Sebadas with two forks, being careful not to pierce them, to brown the second side as well.
Once both sides are golden, drain the Sebadas and place them on absorbent paper.
Serve the Sebadas hot, drizzled with plenty of wildflower honey.
Low cost, ideal for ending a meal with a traditional Sardinian dessert.
