Preparation
- STEP 1 OF 6
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Check that the sandwich bread fits the size of the pan; if it's too large, remove some excess slices of bread.
- STEP 2 OF 6
Prepare the ingredients: wash and slice the tomato, and cut the zucchini into spaghetti-like strips.
- STEP 3 OF 6
Stuff the slices of bread by adding a slice of cooked ham and a slice of cheese between them, then add the tomato and zucchini.
- STEP 4 OF 6
You can also choose not to stuff all of them but alternate them so you have individual sandwiches after baking.
- STEP 5 OF 6
In a glass, mix the egg with the milk to create an emulsion and pour the mixture over the stuffed sandwich bread slowly with a spoon; the emulsion will help keep the sandwich bread moist and prevent it from drying out.
- STEP 6 OF 6
Bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 200°C.
